How to check rs turbo fuel relay without a car
Hi,
Having sold my s2 RS Turbo last year, I have found 4 pink fuel relays in a garage clear out.
Im sure they work and were kept as spares but would like to test them before advertising them on EBay. As I don't have a car to test them on, is there a check I can make with a multimeter to determine if they are working or faulty?
Thanks for reading...
Cheers
Billy

Do you have a wiring diagram as you will need to know which 2 pins need 12v applying to energize the relay. You could then test with a multimeter to see if the relay is closing the circuit across the other 2 pins.
To do it properly though you would need to simulate the current draw across the relay that the fuel pump would draw to ensure the relay is functioning correctly.
