Running 605 bhp on 4 no 1000cc injectors, want to swap to 8 no injectors to get good emissions on idle and better low down driveability, i know most mappers dont like missmatching injectors i.e. 4 no greens 4 no grey etc.
I assume this is mainly due to most of them having a base map for 8 greens.

4 1000cc injectors should have good emissions if mapped correctly and the engine spec allows it,
What make injectors are you running and what make ecu.

Hi Mark,
Currently on P8 with mountune ALS board, injector make i cant remember, they are half black half silver, i have purchased a T62000, the engine will be re mapped for the T62000.
I have been told that the emission levels would still be high for a MOT using the 1000cc with the T6.

What car and age as emissions will be diff for all the range,
I cant see why a T6 cant drive the injectors correctly as 1000cc are hardly big ones nowdays, who's the mapper.

I only need to make 3.5% co, it will probably get mapped by one of the local guys like Tom Field or ahmed Bajoo.

At 3.5% you should piss it with any good Ecu and 1000cc injectors.

I know it's not 1000cc, but I run greys, that some say are very high emissions, but as it has been mapped correctly it breezes the mot at 0.97% co.
I do know of 8 injector set ups(cossoes) running perfect, but again these are mapped correctly, last one was 8 greys.

The Siemans injectors seem to be favourite, what make are you refering to Mark? I cant find Siemans injector in 1000cc, would the 83LB injectors be suitable for 600 bhp?
Thanks.

Thanks.
i would look closer at Rochester injectors, i believe they are 1008cc
if not then i would use the Siemens over the Bosch

siemens 83lb are 875cc.

55lb = 575cc
72lb = 750cc
83lb = 875cc

Rochester = 1008cc

The MSD injectors look the same as the Rochester, are they made by the same manufacturer?
