cossie managed zetec turbo???
Hi,
right, ive bought myself a mk6 escort van it has a 2.0 zetec turbo engine fitted and the guy i bought it off tells me its running cosworth engine management ect! here's the problem! it dosent start, its not sparking right, ive had a plug out while ive turned it over and as soon as you turn the ignition on the plug keeps sparking (not properly) and the coil pack starts making a weird buzzing noise and this dosent change while you turn the engine over! it just keeps doing this kind of half hearted sparking! its just not sparking in any kind of order i know its had a new crank sensor and its fitted to the crank pulley not the flywheel! but im lost, if anyone can help id be really greatfull
thanks for your time guys!

We had exactly this problem on Roosie's old magenta cossie, in the end the wires leading into the fusebox were moved around whilst checking some things, and obviously there was a bad joint in there as it stopped, and then started and ran ok.
