Default My new turbo F999 JTV

Just recently bought this. Although it doesn't look like this anymore. Needs some serious tlc to bring it up to this standard. Some might know the car it has came with a serious amount of history. My plans are get the welding done over the winter then start piecing it all back together. Work needed is front and rear chassis legs, fuse box area, under scuttle above the battery tray, outer sills at the rear, rear arches and the back panel. I'll put updated pics up when I get the shell home next weekend.

This used to belong to my late brother in laws nephew, he sold it onto a friend of mine who is ford mad. It spent a good few years around lincoln untill Danny sold it. Used to get polished every time he came home in it. (rented a room off me and drove the neighbours mad cleaning it at silly oclock) danny had it about 13 years ago iirc.
Will make him aware of this thread.

here are some pics when i got it in sept 2011. it was a non runner so i got her running all be it not very well, the piston rings were gone and the block had a crack in it. i eventually used the head/turbo and loom to turbo my xr2.
i still have the rear bumper and bonnet hinges and dash for it. i broke it and sold it as a rolling shell to a lad who had a worse condition h plater and he was going to put his stuff in this one
