getting the mot booked straight away, as far as i can see it only needs track control arm bushes and a battery

do you not think rs2000 engine will be under powered tho? not getting it a cossy engine?

agree with you not the most powerful engine
goin to fit 40s/45s and set of cams aswell before it goes in, should take it to 160bhp+
but i dont have the funds for a yb. maybe some stage down the line
i have a 24v sierra which is more than fast enough to keep me happy

I'm amazed cars like this keep cropping up, I wonder how many more are stashed away. Should be a nice little daily driver with the rs2k lump in it

car hadnt moved in probably 6/7 years, its gettin resealed and painted underneath
its just the exhaust and back axle that lets it down cause of the rust, and the back axle is getting swapped for a disc brake back end anyway so no point cleaning it

yeah, the running gear/engine will probably stay basic for a few months, just serviced up abit until after its painted
but the underside/bay etc will be all resealed and painted aswell along with the suspension
