I can appreciate the engineering and the ideas behind doing it as you are but I can't help thing that the VFR motor will be under powered for the Ka shell. I would imagine the shell, even with alot if it cut away is still gonna be alot heavier that the buggy the motor came out of..

Good luck though, nice to see something different..

If there is one thing I dont want in my life its a 750cc car, but I guess once its done it wouldnt be too hard to swap in a bike motor with a bit more get up and go

hi mate,

props for doing something different there!

if you have the time please post it up on fk-oc.com there are a few people who would like a look i reckon.

I dont think the weight of the Ka is much more than 800kgs with no interior, and the original endura engine is quite a hefty cast iron lump so the new tube chassis in the back and bike engine shouldnt be much different.

Good stuff, nice to see something different being built

A quick note, just incase you didn't already know, it's no longer an SVA test but an IVA test and the rules/requirements are now slightly different. It'd be worth checking up before you get too far into things and have to rework areas of the project to get it to pass your IVA test.

Keep the updates coming
