Default S2 zetec turbo, frs mtx75, Omex build

right bought my car last year with a 2.0 zvh car was mint but the engine had been made with a decompression plate but was running on ofab etc

having spent shit loads on my last rst build and never getting it finished due to my local bodyshop going bust ive always wanted to do another one to the same spec or better
so i decided i was going to do this one

anyway a mate of mine was selling proberly the uglyst s2 in the world

which i bought because it had a proper zvh in it with a big valve head cvh 35 , t34, cossie management, radtec intercooler and rad, forged pistons steel rods, and a gearbox with quaife diff etc

so anyway i bougut the car swopped all the good bits and then the car was broken

so my car now looked like this

anyway after a few months i soon got bored and it kept smashing clutchs

after putting 3 of these in, in about 2 weeks i decided to sell my car

anyway cutting a long story short it didnt sell so i spent a bit more cash on it trying to make it look a bit nice in hope to sell

so it now looked like

my love started to come back for the car but it was always trying to compete with my last build and it was just never going to be the same last time round i had built a zetec turbo with omex etc and i still wanted this one to be the same

so after a liitle think or maybe no think

i went out and started stripping

took the engine and box out sold the head, cossie managment, gearbox and all the chrome bits etc and anything that would be no use in my new build, soon as the funds starting rolling in on ebay i begain buying

went and picked up an st170 gearbox locally and decided this was the road i wanted to go down with my new zt build

after shopping around for clutchs and realising that to run this box i would need a pedal box remove servo etc and a £600 clutch and still have no lsd

i went and picked up a focus rs box that i won on ebay

anyway this brings us preatty much up to date

the car is off to the welders today to have the mounts made up for the gearbox

ill save the pictures of all the parts to post when i start bolting it all together which with a bit of luck should be this weekend

ive nearly got everything now so keep your eyes open big update this weekend

thanks

Mat

cars back here at home gave the gearbox a coat of paint ready to go in

missing a few little bits now before i can put it back together

i need a zetec bottom crank pulley for the cambelt

a crank sensor with the bracket that holds it as my block just has a hole and nothing to bolt a sensor to

a plate that goes between the engine and gearbox to hide the back of the flywheel for a rear starter mtx box

Gonna go down the scrappy today and see what i can find

my biggest problem tho is that my focus rs clutch turned up but im missing 2 bolts that hold the cover to the flywheel if anybody has any lying around

as i dont want to put just any bolts in as im worried it might put it out of balence

as soon as ive got these bits i can put it all back together :'(

do you think that mount is gonna be up to the job? the back one looks ok but the top one could do with some more work IMO i done the welding on an st170 box in a fiesta st and one in a mk3 and coming off the wing like that it had alot of flex
