AG Focus Cosworth Project (16/11/12 - Supra Diff)
Since dabbling in pretty much everything to do with a Focus, thought this would be the logical choice. Fancied going the RWD Focus RS using a suitable gearbox on the original FRS lump, but then thanks to Carlo and Andrew Gallacher, they informed me that this one was back up for sale. Searched for a decent Escort Cosworth, but I'm guessing my timing is wrong for one at the moment
But as for the FoCos, it was bought well over a year ago from Andrew and went to a nice chap called Mark (I believe his username here is Macca???) in Belfast, but was sadly unused for all that time. Fetched her yesterday on a horrible ferry ride from Anglesey to Dublin which honestly, I could have swam the crossing quicker
So keep an eye on this thread, a few updates coming as and when I get the time. Just wanna thank Blacky, Wenny and John Cole (johnyjn) for helping me up to this point...and most likely for the forseable future Also a big thanks to Mark for answering all my repetative questions for the last 2 weeks
First job was to sort the brake servo. Sat for such a long time in all weathers, appeared to be shafted. But after a slight tap it came back into life. Works well now and I have brakes!
Next step will be MOT, sort the breather and then sort the small cosmetic issues on the bodywork.

@ Dingla RS
You might have to pal, I'm getting raped at work with the hours at the mo
@ Glenny boy
Yeah they told me you need help But totally agree, the boys are really great and very patient!
@ Carlo
Sorted the brakes so had a little burn on a private road/drive way with some very nice quick corners, can't really take it on the main roads without all the legal stuff Tell you what though, solid rear beam mounts really do help tell you what a car's doing....as you frantically hold onto the jebus handle above your head!
But I gotta say, I'm fully aware that eventually I'm gonna get slated to hell by anal people because I've bought a Focus Cossie that's already been converted. So all I can say is....I was sensible, because the amount of work involved is unimaginable and those who have done these themselves deserve more than praise! But there's still plenty left to do to get it up to my spec

Hell no, be like the rest of you sheep then
Keeping it as is looks wise (yeah right ), but obviously sorting out the cosmetic side of things.
Didn't get much of a chance to sort out MOT, but I did go to the DVLA to re-register it and put it in my name. So that's a little bit done. Log book here mid of next week hopefully, so will arrange MOT then and get tax same day....just in time to return home after loosing it around my roads
