Maybe, but a 350bhp engine in a Focus is really good. Maintains good drivability. Only issue really that I want to resolve quickly is the full lock problem due to the combination of a sierra steering rack and focus chassis legs. Won't be much of a hassle

Look forward to seeing the progress on this one if the other two you've done are anything to go by bud.

I was expecting this to be an EsCos! That's all I'd seen you posting about
Looks nice mate, though I do think a bit of subtle modification to the body might be nice, as your old Focus looked smart. Sleeps have their place, but I prefer something with a bit of a look about it really!
Be interesting to see where you go with it though!

The arches mate, had the wings off today to have a good look. So I'm cutting the chassis leg, modifying a different plate in its place, strengthening it but still might have to use narrower blocks on the steering rack. But overall it should give me some better clearance...so might be down to a few less than a million point turn afterwards

Keeping interior as is, love the way it looks inside...virtually no sound too! Might change seats though.
@ jonny S2
Yeah, back in October 2007 I think. Basically sat doing nothing since then.
Slowly bringing it back from the brink now

Whatever anal people want to believe about powerful FWD cars, the Focus RS is an exceptional car. Would put enough RWD and 4x4 cars to shame, mine did So I'll always be happy to have another one some day. But as for the comparison, can't really compare both cars...this one's virtually a Sierra Saph in different clothing. But its really fun, will be able to give more details sometime next week after I get it on the road properly

Cool, that was a pretty cool drive back. But the wind started to pick up as we were going down that hill just before the Escort and I went off the dual. I ended up having to go all the way to Wrexham afterwards, which I reckon I saw you coming back towards me again
@ dingla RS
Few lads on here with or had a 4x4 Focus, so I guess your best bet is to contact Charlie Shaw....I think he's given all kinds of abuse possible to a mk1 Focus Cossie But I'll stick with RWD I think, but give Ian Gerrard (Reyland Focus) a PM, he's thinking of going 4x4 too
