After months of sitting about I finally decided to get my RST pulled out brushed down and turned out.
For those of you that dont know the spec its
Engine:-
2.0 Blacktop Zetec
Pauter Steel Conrods(600bhp capable)
AVA spec'd(7.1:1) JE Forged Racing Pistons(again spec'd to do big BHP).
Gated/modified sump.
AVA built the engine with lightened and ballanced crank etc etc.
Ported head to maximise the efficiency of the TB's & exhaust manifold
Its running large independant throttle bodies(bike TB's) for sharper throttle response.
AVA custom inlet manifold which allows the TB's to be fed nice cool air from the...........
Genuine Bher RS 500 intercooler
AVA custom exhaust manifold (equal lengthed with longer headers)
Full customised mongoose/AVA exhaust with flexi section 3" from turbo back.
AVA spec'd T34/63(stage 3)
Omex 600 with custom AVA loom & greens for now.
Suspension
Leda fully heightdamping adjustable Coilovers.
Rsi front crosmember & fully adjustable lower front arms/TCA's
MEF compresson struts & trailing arms.
Brakes
Front
355mm disks with custom bells and Brembo Evo Calipers
Rear
308mm vented disks with custom bells and Brembo Evo Calipers
Wheels
Compomotive Mo' 8 x 17 Et 40

Aye I've had it what? 6/7 years now! I tend to go through phases of enjoying it then hating it - a good clean doesnt do it any harm.
I've destroyed a few uprated gearboxes which is a bit of a drain, its currently got a CTS stage 2+ in it atm however the casing where the clutch cable passes through is burst. It needs either taken out again(which is a pest because of how tight it is under the bonnet) else a bracket fabricated to allow the cable to operate the clutch mechanism propperly.
Power wise, its on a base map just now - the engine having been ran in, power isnt worth measuring until its been fully mapped.
300atw is the aim for now with a good spread of power which the TB's/Inlet & Exhaust manifold should see to.
Out and out power is all well and good but drivability and fun are more important to me.

Cool car Andy. Remember you telling me bits about the spec over the years, didn't realise it was such a complete / well chosen list of mods

600bhp is pretty lame these days aint it Will
Ok the cars reached the end of its life as one car, i'll be breaking it over the coming weeks - all parts available.
Although I haven't sat down and worked out prices for stuff yet i'm happy to recieve sensible offers on parts prior to advertising (by pm)
