Default "Ultimate Sleeper" 2.1 ZVH Cossie Managed . . . 5 Door Ghia!? FOR SALE

Thought I'd put up some pictures of the 5 Door Ghia Sleeper. Its done 40k since new with all stamps in the book and 2 previous owners. Never been welded, and although the roof seems to have been painted at some point, its pretty tidy.

I have to say it's by far the car which puts the biggest smile on my face when I'm driving it. Its given quite a few people a shock

Looking nice and standard on the out side just a set of wheels and some yellow shocks? Young learner car driver on a budget.....

Look closely and it almost looks like theres an intercooler in there?

And under the bonnet......

Spec is as follows.
2.1 Zetec Bottom End
86mm Accralite pistons
felpro head gasket
stage 3 head
kent cvh34 race cam
uprated springs and lifters
cosworth management
4x4 loom and sensors
dark green injectors
level 8 pectel board
vernier pulley
crank reground and balanced
rods balenced
fly wheel lightened
4x4 turbo
ap racing paddle clutch
Double Capacity alloy Intercooler.
samcos
piper cross air filter
battery relocated to the boot

but my favorite part of the car?

3" exhaust with a standard looking back box. Sat in traffic just sounds like your average run of the mill tappety Fiesta.

I've bought the car solely to take the engine out and put in my Escort RS Turbo but run around in this while I poly bush, powder coat, paint the underside etc etc, so I'm trying not to get too attached. Seems a shame to take the enigne out but needs must.......

........ besides, I'm left with a 201BHP CVH engine which will have to go somewhere

Turned the boost down to 12PSI and it still rapid as foooook! I've got a video I'll post up later.

cheers for the comments lads. Hopefully taking it to a rolling road wednesday to see what power its putting out. But after upsetting the owner of a honda s2000 and a clio 182 (off the lights, no twisties) it should give a pretty solid figure. Might even wind the boost up a little. Would also like to get the car featured before the engine comes out so if anyones interested . . . .

perhaps not, if its just the box and pipe it won't be... depends on the baffles etc but i'm sure the box is no problem at all

Very cool, but I'd think that Intercooler hose is holding it back more than the tailpipe!!

It was running a standard intrcooler when I bought it And I had that one in the garage but the silicon pipe is too long and cant be shortened so I`ve got to get one.

Anyone want to buy the rolling shell? 15x7 Supperligeras, 40mm G-Max, anti roll bars and S brace, 3" straight through exhaust, double capacity alloy intercooler etc etc. All you would need to do is pop an engine in it. PM me.
