haha just notice this old post of mine! have owned the cobra in the pictures since then, was easier to buy the car done than convert a v6. good work on the escort, i do miss the power delivery of the modular engine

just read your supercharging it, the psi your going for will give more than a 110 gain, using just a 8 psi vortec u gain around 140 putting it upto around 450 bhp so if you get 12-14 your looking at hitting 550-600! thing is these engines have weak rods which are not safe over 450-480 so your going to have to wind that supercharger down somewhat if your not planning a rod upgrade. i was gettin ready to turbo mine before i had to sell so have alot of info on sorting these motors for forced induction if you need any info, shaun hyland in america is the guy to talk to for big safe power (he has built a 1600bhp drag car)

EDIT u just posted the above post as i wrote this one lol! anyways shaun hyland for those internals, trust me

You should have seen me and Tim trying to fit the gudgeon pin clips in

they're not your usualy circlips, best way of discribing them is pig tale pattern and flat, what a basterd - I left Tim to it as didn't want to break one

these are stroker forged I beam rods 5.950 long with arp bolts and dowled
think they are eagle rods but not sure as not got manufacterers markings came with crank which has eagle on it,
The rods look good quality an finished well on the balancing sheet rods were all very close hardly had to remove any metal to balance at all,
so only way is to run up and see what we can get out of it
