Default converting a mk3/4 escort to rwd cossie.[help needed]

hi all im just about to start converting my mk3 escort with cossie floor pan and running gear i pretty much no what im doing but just wanted some advice for areas that have been real headaches to sort.also if any ones got any before and after pics of there conversions that would be great so i can get some ideas

Sounds like a good project......

Think the biggest problem would be getting the floor pan out and swopped for the cossie one and alligned up properly..... just get jiggy withe winder stihl saw and a welder. If you can use them an can fabricate parts yourself should'nt have many problems really....

got a 24v cossie in mine

I'm doing the same thing to my S2 next year, the 1 think that is an issue is the rear turrets, they need to be moved back. The Escort shocks sit in line with the middle of the of the back wheel where as they bolt to the hub, on a Cossie they sit behind the wishbone/swinging arm.

Have a llok here http://www.rsbible.co.uk/ Near the bottom there are 3 pics which will help make more sence.

I'm not sure if i'm going to use the Escort inner front wings or sierra yet.
Get some pics up when you do yours.

not with the 24v lump in, but i had a 2.0 in it before got some pics in the resto section
