Yeah, thats the way I see it.

I converted the 205 pedal box to hydraulic clutch a while ago by welding in a plate to take the Reyland Master cylinder and I used that on a Tilton centre push on the GTR but this time I am going with the external slave cylinder as per the reyland mod so that I can swap out the slave without taking the whole box out of the car as I had a few issues previously that meant the box had to come out to sort it.

I am using a paddle clutch with high pressure helix cover and these would make the cable too uncomfortable so really needs to be hydraulic, Reyland even says on his site that you must upgrade to this to use that plate.

1-2 weeks should see the box here and in the car, Prop shaft services have nearly done the front prop and we are just waiting to measure how much I need to adapt the rear by as the 205 shell is shorter than the Sierra.

Mounted up the toucan display and managed to get a rare 5 button 205 panel instead of the normal 3 button. So now I have the high and low boost switch and anti lag on the panel. Launch and anti lag can be operated by one of the toucan screens

Here is toucan on one of the multi dial screens, Mark made the Ecu talk to it so everything the Ecu readers on its own dial

When you press one gauge they are about the size of your typical after market temp or oil pressure gauges but I know what you mean, I was on their site yesterday seeing if they had launched any bigger ones, it would be nice to have one about the size of an iPad mini

Propshaft services called me as I sent them some second hand front and rear props to be adjusted to suit the 25mm difference in the oppliger box. They said that on the cossie they used very high quality universal joints but the front one I sent had been replaced with a poor quality one that was showing signs of torque twist so they are building me a completely new prop with the best quality that they can do.

I had a good measure up today for the rear prop as my car is different to the saph for length, my total wheel base is 19cm shorter than the saph.

It should be all be good when you get them back then mate . All I can say is you did well to get a phone call as I ended up sending a email to the MD as I had asked for the full price befor they started on making my prop . When the MD come back to me the prop was made and ready to be shipped . It end up I picked it up and the woman was going to charge me the full price to witch I said I'm hear picking it up the lad said nock Ł18 off the bill . The propshaft is 100% spot on very happy with it but they need to work on there communication skills .

I think I have done virtually everything I can until MK sends me the rest of my comp struts, arb and pin kit plus the arrival of the oppliger box. Clutch is in and centred on the cover, the new header tank is in and plumbed and all fluids waiting to go. Prop shafts now all measured, posted and ordered.

Quick shift should be on its way to Bara from oppliger. Just need to decide on a gear knob now.

Front prop arrived today. Pete from spec r has promised post. Box is done and waiting on quick shift from oppliger. New intercooler has shipped. MK is just plating my comp struts and shod post next week.....getting close to being back on the road. I can't wait to try the new box.

My 6 degree beam should be done in 3 weeks. Then off to trimmers before corner weights and then new suspension to suit.

Romain Oppliger still is not responding after I paid for his quick shift kit, the box is all done and waiting for just the shifter. I have put some posts on Facebook too.

When it arrives I will have a good measure up and see if one could ever fit the rear of the car. My plan is to have nice supple suspension so the arb will need to work well.

I was talking to MK today and he thinks a rear bladed arb will fit so he is making a 6 degree beam to suit and this will be modded to accept my supra diff without any adapted kit.

Big changes about to be added, 6 des beam being done, front and rear bladed arb, compression struts, adjustable tca, Oppliger Ł5k gearbox with close ratio and custom props along with new intercooler. It is gonna be a busy weekend as most of it arriving at once.

My wife asked me what I want to do for Father's Day...I said, fit my gearbox.

The question is are you allowed to fit it on Father's Day or are you under the thumb

Had a call from Bara to say the oppliger shifter has arrived so will go get the box on Friday this week and MK has been sending me pics of all the stuff he has been posting to me so lots to do this weekend and then the 6 degree beam is prob going to be finished next week. I will get the car running and then take of a front and rear suspension and send it to Leda so they can copy the shape and size whilst I am on holiday and then once corner weighted they will make me up new Shox and springs to suit as mine went on in 1992 and it has spent a lot of time sitting around not being driven, fresh new Shox will be great.

Coming along nicely mate

I'd get the new shocks on before the corner weighting or you will have to get it done again after fitting the new ones unless they are going to be exact copies with same Spring rates and valve rates etc

Thanks, I think they needed the corner weights to predict what damping and springs were needed based on overall weight of car etc.

How did you work out the dampers before?
