Only you or a mod can do that, if you upload them to www.flickr.com they come out as a nice size on here.
If you want to pm me your account details i can delete the pics for you, then you can change your password to something else, or if you dont feel confident doing it that way just wait for a mod to do it

I find night shots are pretty straightforward to take so long as you have a tripod, they also tend to look more special than daytime shots imo.
I struggle to think of an idea to take a picture of while sat in the house... but since ive been out and about taking photos ive found that if you go walking around somewhere you will come up with more ideas and results than if you sit at home trying to think of a photo to go out and take, they just seem to turn up from places you wouldnt have previously thought of, especially at night time.
When you're out practising, with a tripod and with the camera in manual, try altering the settings on the camera and then take lots of photos from the same position, then when you get home you can review the photos and see what difference each change of setting made to the resulting photo.
My fave pic out of the ones you posted is the sunset sky windsurfer, the sky looks fab.
He did mention removing the photos earlier on in the thread but he said he couldnt manage it as his laptop was playing up. Could you remove the post for him Maria, you being a mod?

Random picture i took last month after my nephews were playing with the bubbles...
Yet to use the 30d to shoot motorsport/static cars...just don't get the time...or have many opportunities to shoot at meets/track days as i don't drive!!

Be suprised at value for your money these days, i suggest entry level people go in for a 2nd hand Canon EOS 300/350D i haven't checked prices but they must be cheap by now.
The 400D is also a good camera, the kit lens had better quality glass, the CCD was refined.
The 450D i have no experience with as i skipped from the 300d to a 30D via an insurance claim when i dropped it in the kitchen (read my dad dropped it in croatia)
I have heard great things about Nikon's base to mid range of D-SLR'S but again have never had one to hand to test so i can't comment on these but they are well worth looking into.
If i had a grand or so spare i would buy one with a semi decent lens to have a play with...
Patience is a virtue though with D-SLR'S lots of testing with setting's,experementation with different light settings will help a lot.
A tripod is a must for any kind of low light level work,no matter if its a dark cloudy day or complete night dark, you will improve your pictures no end with a tripod..
Add your camera, tripod and think about a release cable(what do others call these), you know kinda like what the hot bird click when doing the weather
Now all i need is some sort of opportunity to put all this kit to work... anyone in Berkshire want to do a photoshoot

That will be shutter speed.
Tv is shutter prioroty mode, this will let you adjust the shutter speed using the scroll wheel and the camera will adjust the aperture for you depending on meter reading and selected ISO.
The selected shutter speed will be shown in the top left of the LCD screen, ie 1/125.
Hope that helps,
Matt.

if you have a remote switch (or a wire with a button on it that plugs into the camera and takes the picture) - wind your shutter speed dial around past 30seconds, so it reads BULB and you basically control the open and closing of the shutter yourself.
Ideal for outdoor night photos but recommended using a tripod too.

Thought i would post a recent shot of my newest lens.
Natural light, taken with 50mm f1.8.
I've a new tripod head coming so my old one is no longer required if anyone is interested, manfrotto 486rc2 ball head & quick release plate.

Same here, but ive got my first shoot with the D60 at Croft on Sunday, hopefully i'll get some reasonable photos to post up here
As Muska said, a couple of hundred quid will get you a little starter DSLR camera and lens, basically your wallet is your limit, and once you start you will want more and more gear as you progress.
Cheers this one is my favourite trailing light picture to date, by chance i managed to catch a bus going over the bridge
You been out and tried any more night time shots lately?

The focal length is the distance between lens and the sensor/film in the camera. I was shooting with an 18-55mm lens, which means it can be altered from 18mm up to 55mm, you do this by simply zooming in or out by rotating the lens.
I'm sure Muska or some of the more experienced lads will put this better than me.

I am shooting with a Canon Rebel XTi 12.1 mp. My lense is the 18-55mm. Also I am using Photobucket for the uploader.
Kinda wish I didn't have the car in this picture but the refection is kinda neat.
Final one. People were waiting so they could put their boat in.
If anybody has tips for me I'm more than happy to hear them.

Red16, i've upgraded to the 322RC2, it's to form part of the car rig i'm just gathering parts for..
Regarding a light trail shot i'd personally do the following:
Use a tripod without doubt, or something solid to rest the camera on. Consider using the romote timer or a remote shutter release, i just try and be carefull when pressing the shutter.
Set the white balance
Set the camera to aperture priority
Set an aperture of at least f8-f11 (in low light this will give you a shutter speed long enough to capture a ligh trail, if it's not long enough for what you want increase the number of the aperture and the shutter speed will slow to compensate.)
Check your composition, for this sort of shot the focal length will not really matter, even with variable aperture lenses as you'll be working past the minimums anyway. Just get what you want in frame and it's done. Consider things like the rule of thirds and lead in lines.
Make sure ISO is set to the lowest setting.
Check your shots, Check the histogram, if the shots are looking noisy check in your menu's for LONG EXPOSURE NOISE REDUCTION, try turning that on and see if it makes a difference, that may well have bee nthe problem with the guy who has the sigma 10-20mm and was taking a shot of a bridge at night that was quite noisy by the way.
Enjoy your shots, consider post processing. Personally i always shoot in RAW as it gives you so much more control over the final look.
Hope thats of some help, this is by no means the only way to take this sort of shot, just what i would do.

The photos of the lighthouse and of the QE2 have had the exposure and colour saturation altered on the computer, all the other of the photos are exactly as they came from the camera.
