Same here, but ive got my first shoot with the D60 at Croft on Sunday, hopefully i'll get some reasonable photos to post up here

As Muska said, a couple of hundred quid will get you a little starter DSLR camera and lens, basically your wallet is your limit, and once you start you will want more and more gear as you progress.
