WRC vs 4wd
Someone knows the advantages from a wrc exhaust manifold vs 4wd manifold ? How will a TT T38 perform with the wrc manifold ?

It will perform well
The wrc is a even pulse manifold
The last t38 engine on wrc manifold made 460 bhp

Thanks. Is the 4wd a even pulse manifold to ?
My Mountune built engine is already 450 bhp with the 4wd manifold, do you think the wrc manifold would make it better

Sorry herbst
Do you mean compression. Ratio of a wrc engine ? They can be around the 10:1 cr mark !

Depends who you use to map it, speak to the person who will map it and see what they advice, but slightly below the standard 8:1 cr is the norm

and again
.
The engine is finished long ago, it's a mountune engine with roller barrel, 8,2:1 comp, 4wd manifold and TT T38.
Why do you think Mountune went for slightly higher comp ?
search youtube "mountune escort cosworth"

They are used to doing rally engines so probably try to stick to quite a high compression ratio, I guess, other wise I don't know !
