Have recently purchased a second hand (basically brand new) autronic sm4 ecu and ryan car looms uk full engine loom for a yb. It is literally just the ecu and loom.

I have a few questions regarding the intstallation..

Do i use all existing sensors or do i need autronic specific items? If i need sensors, where can i purchase them and what ones do i need?
Do i need boost control or is it internal to ecu?
Map sensor is internal right?
Do i use standard ignition amp?
Do i use standard crank sensor?

As said, all i have is ecu and loom, is there anything else apart from coilpack and leads that anyone knows i need to buy also?

Use a mac valve and the Ecu will control it,
4.4bar mapsensor internal to ecu,
It will use a bosch Ign map,
Standard crank sensor.

Ok, today i have oredered..

Autronic airtemp and water sensors.
Motorsport developments coilpack and leads
Mac valve

Anybody have a part number or link to the bosch ignition amps?

Im assuming the autronic sm4 has a ignition amp internal also as my loom only has 1 plug for ignition amp and it needs 2 amps to run msd/zetec coil pack right?

I will do when i go for a big build but for now no otherwise il have to have a new loom made.

I almost asked at the start make sure your loom is correct for the coil combo you are going to use, I produced at least 5 different ones for M.A.D. The looms were always custom made to the car as there are a fair few differences in plug positions across all head/Block/Coil combo's.. Also wiring differences between Big/Small Turbo.

As mark says, its a ryan looms loom, here are pics of plugs, hopefully you can both help and tell me what i need to buy, and if i need to cancel msd order lol.

At what point did I say this was not a Ryan lead. I just pointed out that at least 5 variations of coil wiring are common.
