ECU situation now RESOLVED....
.....i am going AUTRONIC SM4 
As i find its soooo important to have an ECU that works properly straight out the box and the seller aint a paranoid unreliable twit.
Now ask yourself this my good friends...why would Mark Shead risk selling me an ECU?...as remember i am a total arse hole and bring people down for no reason
I hope some of the more intelligent folk can actually see that i did have a genuine problem with S8 
and as such have lost total confidence in the product and the geezer making it...Its so nice to be able to phone Mark up and him to answer the fooking phone For that he gets my loyalty....it may be costing alot more than S8 but customer service is where its at....plus a product that is properly proven to do the business.. 
Also people i have only recently been dealing with MAD and before that i never had ever the slightest inclination to diss MAD
WHY?....proper company springs to mind.....Its a true saying in life you either like someone or you dont...its a pity that most dislike me...

PS this does NOT make me a MADETTE As i dont believe in the use of NOS 
S8 ECU for sale.....who ever buys it will get full support from Simon so i understand...good luck First £300 can have this awesome product...lets see if any of you can put your money where your mouth is!!!

Ideally, It needs to have a software upgrade which you will have to return it to
me to do free of charge.
I would recomend you do this to ensure that there are no problems
before fitting to a car as it is second hand now !
Once this is done, I will give you another years warranty

Perfect simon, sounds ideal.
Have just spoke to Phil by phone and made arrangements to pick it up on monday and have given the nutter my credit card details for in the meantime (i must be mad, LOL)
I only want it to run with a T34 and greens anyway, on a 3 bar map sensor and 4wd TPS, which Phil seems to think it will do anyway, but ill still send it back for an upgrade if there is one going free

SM2 was use install, so seems a weird step to go dealer only for the SM4
Personally ive been pretty underwhelmed with what ive seen of autronic give nthe cost of it compared to other ECU's like DTA etc, but i havent seen the SM4 yet.

Seriously though, hope it works out for you Phil, you are going to need all the help you can get (thats not a dig, its just a comment that you are doing something thats not easy), and you actaully sound like quite a normal fella on the phone, your net personality probably doesnt do you justice.

A really good map on a high spec motor is worth a grand on its own, as its easily a couple of days work, so 1000 quid for any ECU f its got the RIGHT map on it for a big spec motor sounds like a bargain.
