Default Can the DVLA tell you.... G432SFG

....if a car has been scrapped or not? im looking for my dads old rs turbo and I have done the obvious tax and insurance check to see if its on the road, it has been off the road since 2010 according to the database so although its unlikely that its still around I want to confirm it. how much information can I get from the dvla about the car? it was a red series 2 and the reg number was G432SFG. thanks

hoping it is being restored, silly really but I would love to own it as my dad had it when I was about 12/13 years old. searched loads on the internet but never find any trace of it.

thats not silly mate its perfectly understandable. i just googled the number before checking the dvla site and all that comes up is a previous thread on here from circa 2006.
a thread like this might just be read by someone that knows someone that knows something about it lol, you never know

just googled and there is a form you can fill out to request the details of the current owner ( if it still has one I guess ) might give it a go, only hitch is you need a good enough reason to want to know who the current owner is, and im not sure me wanting to know if its alive and potentially buying it would be a good enough reason for them to give any details out. worth a try though I guess.

I dont know about the Details not found thing becase surely if the car is off the road it would be declared SORN? it shows as unlicensed which implies that the tax ran out and nothing has been done which surely would have been fined?
