I have a portable inflator thing that you plug into the cig lighter, It came with a gauge seems accurate enough

I saw a review on them a little while ago, halfords own brand digital gauge was the most accurate. I use an electric pump with a gauge in it which gets the pressure close, then adjust them just right with the digital gauge.

That's what I use.

Bought a Halfords one and it was crap. It failed after 2 uses.

Got a Michelin one that was cheaper and hasn't let me down. And was used a lot with a slow puncture.

This is the gauge I've got, which came top in both this review,

and this one,

I've got this electric pump too, had it probably 5 years and it's been fine, not had an issue with it. Gauge is a few PSI out though, so I fill the tyres a bit over and drop them down while checking with the digital gauge.

I just purchased one of these, is excellent quality and very accurate. You hold the pressure on it too by just pushing the button, it's item number 390812596682 on eBay

Ive had the older version of this type from Halfords for a few years.

Cheap simple and reliable.

And funny that it reads exactly the same as a ridiculously expensive Longacre digital one a friend bought.

Tyre inflators are all shit, and I wouldnt bother with digital either.
