Turned out pretty well to be fair and am glad they didnt keep it bronze. Did well to get 12k for it also considering it wernt even an rs.

Turned out well but they should have kept the colour original. Tawney brown is the bollox!
Overall I enjoyed the programme. I reckon they must have really been inundated with emails about doing a mk1 and weren't lying about that, as they really seemed to wanna make sure they did it justice and seemed to play to the mk1 enthusiasts more than I've seen them do so with any other car on there!

how come the ebay page shows it at £5100 with 18 bids and reserve not met. yet he goes and buys it for 4500. yeh right he paid far more than 4500, either that or the seller is a fool considering it was at 600 more than that and people were still bidding.
