R S O C Cant register HELP PLEASE
Just joined the RSOC and thought i would register for the forums etc.Only problem is it wont accept my email address saying "the administrater wont accept free email addresses" and apparently i need an ISP?Thing is i dont want another email address and know one has ever declined the one i currently use.Any ideas what i need to do please

Who is your ISP?
When you sign up with an ISP they give you an email address (user.name@ntlworld.com) as an example.
Use this one and you should be fine.

ISP = Internet Service Provider
so basically the people who you pay to allow you to connect to the internet via their services such as BT Internet, Sky, Aol, Virgin, NTL, etc
RSOC dont accept free email addy's as its part of their system that stops web based spam & bots posting crap on the forum

Going from your IP address I would say you are BTOpenworld.
You should have an email account like adrian.barber@btopenworld.com for example.

Im not sure mate, i just created an email account with fastmail, and used that address to register and get activated. Ive never used it since actually.
