Default Gearbox oil leak MT75 4wd

Hello,

After putting a few miles on the car after the resto, I seam to have a little oil coming out of this hole.

Does anyone know what it's for? have I forgot to put a bolt in there or something?

Isn't that the leak hole to make sure Cosworths keep up a reputation for leaking oil?

Sorry I do not know

Off the top of my head don't know, but I would start by asking Google for some MT75 photos and you'll probably get the answer of what goes in there.

give me a day or so and i'll get my book out to see what's supposed to go there

i've also got that part of the box so i can see for myself, but the breather is a torx bolt with a hole in it at the top of the box somewhere

might be the breather for the transfer box though

is your oil level correct. Im sure in the past i had too much oil in the transfer box and it pissed out of the front driveshaft seal.

Thanks Glenn, as Dojj said, the pics are of the main casing, the hole is in the transfer casing just behind.

I did have a weap out of the front prop, which has since cleared, so it's ok now or its got no oil left in it

its a hole that was only used for production, (milling and mounting in the mt75 rig) if it is leaking from there then the oil seal inside the box is knackered as that seals it
