Default Fuel pump wiring

Evening folks,
I'm thinking about replacing the wiring to the fuel pump on my 1989 RWD. From what I can gather its a sensible upgrade to replace the ageing wiring system.
So, how much of a job is it, anyone got any diagrams?

Many thanks.

Hello mate.

All the posts ive seen are all to do with an upgraded pump as well as the wiring (Bosch 044?)
I'm not changing my pump and haven't come across a thread for a standard upgrade.

Cheers

you'll be hard pushed to find the original push on connectors for your standard pump.
could buy a loom for a 044 pump and solder on your original connector I suppose.

Haven't got a standard pump to check but would have thought some round terminals and a nut should hold it on same as a group a one?!!!

If not as said just solder/join the original wires to a new loom
