fitting chip to l8 ecu

Default fitting chip to l8 ecu

well my new chip arrived today and when i fit it the ecu cover wont fit back on heres a few pics so show what i mean.
ecu with standard chip

This can't be common with the evolution chips, quite a dealbreaker for me.

More to the point why are you trying to fit an Msd board into a pectel board.

This won't work and likely to damage some thing.

i just bought the ecu on here was told it was standard board, what does the pectel board do?

Looks like a std board to me as I'm sure they have pectal on them

mine plugs into a pectel board,
if i remember,you have to tuck one side of the board under where the screw threads are,if that makes sense.
