What clutch for 400bhp?
What is a suitable clutch for a 400bhp 2wd saff. I currently have an AP uprated plate with standard cover. I was thinking of a 6 paddle plate but could I use the standard cover or will I need an uprated one?

Peeps, at this level you really do not need a paddle centre plate, I know cause I've been there. You need an AP cover and an organic plate. Mine ran on this set up for a couple of thousand miles with no slip what so ever. Only changed to paddle when we upped the boost on the final mapping which took it to over 500 brake and nigh on 490 ft/lb torque, and it started to slip in the higher gears

I used to run a tilton 6 paddle plate and a standard (second hand) cover.....
Bit hard, never slipped and had a lovely light feel to the pedal!
The original tilton heavy duty race cover was an absolute nightmare and kept snapping cables it was that heavy...used to make my thigh shake lol

I use helix HD cover + helix 6 paddle plate at 400bhp from GGR. Not slipping, normal for road use, but a little hard pedal. Next time if I still 400bhp I will use this cover with organic plate. I think it will be best setup for road use.
