cossie wont fire up??? help

Default cossie wont fire up??? help

just got my new engine fitted and cant get fecker to fire up,
i got spark and fuel, checked timing etc all is in order
could the old map in my autronic ecu be that far out that its stopping it from fireing up?

I had trouble with my car once when it came to starting up, turned out to be the water temp sensor wiring, check there and make sure wiring is ok and plug is actually connected to the sensor

yes , just the same earths as before when the old engine was in it,but will remove and clean them just to be sure
checked the sensor on back off the head, looks fine as does the plug
running out off options, anyone think its maybe the map?
tbh i think it should still fire up

You have prob connected the crank sensor to the cam sensor, swap them around.

nope, double checked that mark, would it have anything to do with the phase sensor not set correctly, the gap is just as it was with the last engine, but maybe when i put the dizzy back in its not lined up correctly?
