if your gonna use a mulit layer than you must make sure the head and block are dead flat
other wise there is a very good chance it will fail

you will most likely need both re skimmed for this

escort cosworth gasket will be well up to the job of 450

Yer might aswell as i got greys oil cooler, big 500rad group a fuel pump waiting in my garage so might aswel save a bit more and get my head done and get new clutch. So how much will it cost to skim the head?

if you go for the multi then the block will need decking also which means engine out and strip down plus rebuild

works out to be alot of money but worth it in the long run

depends on your budget
