PLUGS
No I haven't had it set up yet, only purchased the car a few weeks ago.I want 2 get everything sorted out on the car first, once that is done I will be taking it for a tune and maybe a new chip aswell. So 0.6mm gap then or 0.7mm but that is for your stage 3.Thanks for your help.Lee.

COSSIE PLUGS
Stu,no they are Motorcraft 071 plugs and have been gapped at 0.67mm,I think 27 thou with a standard coil at present.
I have now got a new group a coil and once that is fitted should they be re gapped to 0.6mm?1992 4x4 sapphire cossie is the car we r talking about sorry I forgot 2 mention that.
Stu I spoke 2 u on the telephone a few days ago about going to a stage 2 and I asked u would the standard clutch and standard turbo be ok,I also asked would an RS500 intercooler be required.Stu u may remember as I'm from South Wales.
Stu,when I bring the car 2 u whether it be for a rechip of my current stage 1 or a stage 2 set up what plugs would u recommend for either stage bearing in mind I will be running my new group a coil then, also what plug gap would u use please?
Thankyou.Lee.

What STU is trying to say is if you use pp8 in a stage three cossie you WILL melt the plugs with disastrous results.
071's are fine for stage three, there is a better plug fpr road use think they are R31(?) STU stocks these too.
