08 1.6 tdci intermittent turbo
hi wondering if anyone can help here, the turbo seems to work intermittently and chatters. would this be the actuator messing around ?. cheers frankie

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
I'm not sure about the 1.6 but I think they have a turbo actuator control solenoid, the one on my 1.8 TDCI went and it made the car come on and off boost and generally lack the proper get up and go.
When I swapped it the difference was instant and transformed the performance of the car !
