You got some current geometry data?

Maybe that you need higher front camber. Also a little adjustment to castor angle can do magic. But I am surprised that turn-in is the problem for you. Escos is one of the best gokat-like response of 4-wheel drive rallycars. It can understeer but rather later before mid-corner. At least mine does sometimes. But currently I get rather more problem with excessive oversteer. (although new suspention, tires are enroute) -> http://www.zlotplejad.privat.pl/sjs17062005/azi.wmv

Maybe one of the fancy rear setups from Brom@Zoo?

On-power handling cna be greatly improved by different set of LSD'a but off power can only be set with geometry adjustments and maybe different driving techniques.. hmm Cossies are pretty weird cars to drive....

i've just noticed that one af the wheels is a different offset, i bought a spare off ebay last year and was going to use it as a spare, its ont the back left and is a ET20 offset, all the others includinghte spare are ET25 (which is whst they should be) if it was 4wheel laser aligned with one of the wheels 5mm out, and they have doen their best to get it all parallel then it will be toing in if its 5mm wider at the back than the front... what dya reckon?

Different ET wheel is surely not an option. Can ruin handling. Setting geometry on standard car is pretty easy so I suspect they got it right but nevertheless the wheel itself doesn't improve handling at all. As I suspect when it's outer wheel it makes more weight go to the rearwhich can cause understeer. Don't you feel the difference in right and left corners?

I don't fully understand what you say but try correct set of wheels first.

tada!

well i reckon i will get the spare wheel fitted, its due 2 new tyres on the front anyway quite soon, so i will have a swap round and have them all the same, - ill use the odd ET20 wheel that is currently on the back as a spare.

cheers, dave.

any good tyre recommendations at the moment, running pzeros at the front which are worn, and toyo T1-S at the back, was going to go T1-S all round but they are not in profuction anymore

Don't buy Goodyear's.

Expensive -> Potenza S-02/03PP
Cheap -> Fulda Carat Extremo (really works!!, i've destroyed one set already, not the best tire in wet but is OK)

I am currently thinking about buying AVON ZZ3 tires for the car to go back on road.

Horror? Want to try them.... they are so cheap..

I've done maybe 10k km's but that's including some practise days on the track, two rallies and some co-drive kind of stuff.

Fuldas arent bad at all. I made better laptimes on those then on Goodyears.

I think I will a try the Avon tire - maybe they aren't so ba, the company can make great competition tires, why not a decent road onces? What kind of stories were those horror ones?

i had a mate who had a bmw m3, 1994 shape, had a full set of zz1 fitted, (bear in mind the old tyres had all worn fairly evenly) he had a blow out about 15 miles down the road on a dual carridgeway, the sidewall and ripped to tatters and the tread had come away from the casing(like the f1's did with me) took it back and they swapped the 2 backs for some zz3 while they sent them away to avon to be eximined, the zz3's then were ther worst gripping tyre in the wet he had ever used, scared him to death in teh wet when he wasnt even driving it hard, eneded up getting some michelin sports, they were quite good, but a bit more expensive.

Maybe this was some faulty early production model or something? Read a test of those ZZ3's and they said they were great value for money. I think they are OEM on some Aston Martin cars.
