as above - tranfsfer box uses 0.5 litre of ATF fluid ( DEXRON 3 ) and the gearbox uses a specific oil for the MT75 box, and needs 1.3 litres

Paul,

how do you find the gear change with heavier oil in than std? i thought the MT75 oil contianed a metal element that helped the bearing life or something..? is it any quieter when its hot - as the std boxes rattle like a bag of bolts when the oil is hot dont they, does it affect the viscosity of the centre diff using a heavier oil than ATF..?
