But no, adding dilute is not going to hurt at all as its all water. You only have problems when you consume too much fizzy do to the crap they put in them, including the carbon which is a by product of the body so your effectively drinking waste. Not that it stops me.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
I hated water at the start, I used to drink nothing but fizzy drinks but when I got serious sbout training I forced myself to drink wter. Now I like it and prefer it to almost anything. I drink at least 3 litres a day

im the same as you, even tho it shouldtn taste of anything i find waters not too great to drink, if its ice cold i can manage to get through a bit easy enough, as Paul says just drink less but more often

Oh well, it dont matter now because as predicted I've given up, I just cant be doing with exercise just for the sake of it, I dont mind doing it if it involves having a laugh like climbing/hiking with a few lads I used to work with or having a kick around, but we dont do it often enough to make any difference to my fitness or weight.
I liken going to the gym everyday or just exercising for the sake of it similar to trapping your own bollocks in a very heavy door, avoid at all costs.

You find that most people do what you`ve done, go for a while and give up. Usually in the new year and near the summer there is an influx of members who slowly drop off again. Its not for everyone, no point in doing it if you don`t like it
