sub for protein shake
I've ran out today and it's going to be a couple of days before it arrives, is a couple of eggs and a glass of milk a good sub?
Or are raw eggs a no no?

Tuna is a very good protein source. If you dont like it then apparently blending it with coke (the drink ) is good as you cannot taste the tuna? Just coke with bits in. I have never tried it as I can't get my head round it, sounds rank.

sounds rank indeeed. I love tuna. Couldn`t be bothered with raw eggs etc, the shakes are only a supplement, a few days without them will do no harm, up your eating to offset the loss of the shake.

Ok cheers lads, I do eat tuna, chicken breast, and eggs daily. I have a good high protien diet, but I was just worried about the after workout shake I usualy take rather than anything.

Its the same if you just have a meal afterwards, well bar the fact that the shake is supposed to get into your system quicker. I had`nt used shakes for 6 months there just out of laziness not going to buy some and i`ve kept gaining the same as when i was using it so I`m unsure how good it has been.
