Any idea what to do with this? The V band on my turbo has sheered!


I've no experience with V bands so no idea how to get it off.

 

On my v band you van replace the bolt, it looks to be fixed on yours. Time for a new v clamp me thinks.

Just bend the clamp open to get it off.

I doubt the cost much but if stuck you can post it to me and I can mig weld the bolt back together, not sure how effective it would be though

 

Done that a fair few times in the work shop at work and parts haven't had one in stock lol there all over trucks them clamps. Weld it back together if your good with a mug and carful it will be fine

 

I just looked em up, seem cheap to just replace. Just google v band

 

Cheers chaps, will prise it off then and just get a new one sorted.
