Billet cover on just fitting kit. I think you can get these covers without the square edges now and the MT ones look ace with cooling fins.

My car has a carbon cam cover...cover but it has seen better days so I may run without the extra cover, if I don’t like it I will buy an oem one but seeing as I had throughly degreased the cover in the ultrasonic bath I though I may as well paint it in 2k and lacquer.

Pulled the entire front out of the car as the chassis legs have the first signs of corrosion and I want to kill that and the wax oil inside the chassis legs, I am ditching the two crap intercoolers and putting bar and plat FMIC on there. I have tracked down a guy famous for the 1.8t ecu remaps (WAK) and he is going to map it.

Engine is now ready for timing belt etc then refit to gearbox and I can wheel it all in to the chassis. R32 anti roll bars going in with the understeer deleting bushes and geo setup.
