hello all, can you recommend anyone who reburbishes cosworth 3 door wheels to a good standard. living where i do i have contacted several firms who only provide this service in one colour and not the two on these wheels. also could the centre caps be done to match. any pics of work you have had carried out would be a great help in deciding where they go. they are in a good condition atm but i don't see the point in a full respray and then putting on wheels that are not perfect. approx cost for set of 5 please (budget already out the window but got to keep going)

www.pristinealloywheels.co.uk They come very highly recommended on the rsoc and ive looked and spoke at great length with them at classic ford as I want my 3 door wheels doing. They know rhe origional dimentions of the wheels so know exactly what to skim off and know the original colours. Thats who i'll be using anyway

Are you happy with the finish? I'm looking at getting mine done by Pristine shortly, and would love to know what the finish is like. Got a couple of photos you could post?

hi bigdel,
the finish was excellent in every way. looked like new. the set i have had refurbed i have sold as i am not ready to fit wheels yet and have another 2 sets. the chap that bought them was very impressed aswell and paid more than wheels and refurb cost. i have pics somewhere of all 5 wheels and will try to find them and post them on here. there will be another set going to them shortly and wouldn't consider sending anywhere else. if i saw a set on ebay or similar in rough condition i would buy them if at the right price to have refurbed, they are that good.

That's good to know. i've got a spare set which i'll have refurbed, then get the set that's on there done and sell them to fund the first refurb.

seconded. didn't get round to doing mine last year, but it's imminent now, so would love to see a couple of pics showing the finish that Pristine achieved.
My lad had some BMW BBS alloys refurbed by Diamond Styling in Kent the other week. They painted, then diamond cut the rims for him, and they look quite good. Anyone got any views about them, good, bad or indifferent?

Nice. Did you put all new rubber on?
if so what did you go for?
Was going to put Dunlop SP Sport 01's on mine, try to keep as original as possible in lieu of D40's
