Default Steel Wheels

Anybody know where I can get a set of 16" steelies from, for winter tyres, to fit my ST170? I've tried google, and can see a fair few sets of universal fit wheels from the USA but nobody seems to sell them here. Plenty of Mondeo 5 stud ones on 'fleebay', but can't seem to find any 4 stud ones.

Have recently spent £500 odd quid on re-furbing my alloys and don't want to have to do them again.

I don't think Ford made a 4 stud 16" steelie, I spent some time looking when I had my van. It may be worth looking into other manufacturers that use 4 stud 108 pcd wheels.

I also state that there were no steel wheels but the usual thing to solve this problem is to buy used 16" alu like 6,5x16" with ET 52.5mm. For this you can use mentioned by Ford 205/55R16 winter tires.

Think I'll try to find a set of second hand alloy wheels, but I know that I won't be able to live with scuffed wheels so I'll have to get them re-furbished too!

The one`s on the Mk3 are 15"

I`ve had 16" Steelies on my Mk4.
They came off a Citroen C4 Picasso / C5.
You`ll need a ring for the centre to make it fit perfectly

Was going to say Citroen, but beaten to it. Peugeot also use a 108pcd, but I haven't a clue what sort of offsets.
Was wondering if anyone could say what sort of effect it has on the handling, running a lower offset?
