yea iv spoken to a few tyre companies an they've all said steer clear of the px4's either go for yokohama parada spec 2's or the t1r's. the yokos are abit softer but imo the grippiest tyre iv ever had, an in the wet they still stuck like shat to a blanket.

I have proxy 4's on my 306, i think they are pretty good, side walls last alot longer than the T1-R's and they are a hell of alot better in the wet, they have lasted very well too, havent had much of dry weather driving though!
The longest i had a set of T1-Rs on my 306 was 3 months, my Proxy 4's are now 3 months old and have alot of tread still on them!

my mates had the t1r's on his 210hp fr leon for 5months and he doesnt exactly take it easy and its a daily driver an they still have half the tread. id say its luck of the draw an weather and road conditions etc etc... but as most have said go for the t1r's. they seem to be the better tyre mate. i know alot of the sprint clubs locally swear by them too.
