just took my fiesta rst out for a drive and as i was going down the road my heaters cut out and my fan was not working, also the front fogs would not come on, got her home to check all the fuses but they were fine, its my first rst and ive had nothin but probs with it but there has been nothin major so far,, can anybody help as its spending more time in the garage than on the road cheers

 

i read somewhere that theres a green relay not fuse that controls the rad fan AND the heaters inside, so have you checked that.?

not sure about the fogs...wiring maybe...??

Thanx for that mate,i have changed the relay and its working fine now, the front fogs run off the same relay thats why they cut out too!!! i owe you a beer !!!

In the fuse box, u need to unscrew and drop the fusebox down, there normally all melted and stuck in.

 

Simple job mate they are behind the fuse box (as above) unscrew the two screws and the fuse box will be loose pull it down and you cant miss them,took me 10mins to do.. u got problems with yours too mate??

my heated rear screen dont work for some reason, plus my fan didnt work.

just want to check em out, c if they are ok,

how can you tell if they are bolloxd.

 

i noticed mine by just taking it out you can see on the plastic where it had burnt out,, just pull it out turn it upside down and have a look by the pins for any signs of melting or burning?? hope this helps
