Default How do i remove ends of S1 Handbrake cable?

Evenin all !

Kinda hoping for / need some advice asap before i butcher me handbrake cable / rear brakes.

Have taken off the rear plates for the brakes, and handbrake cable on my Series 1, but its so old and foosty that i cant see properly how the old handbrake cable is removed from the rear drums/brakes.

Does it clip in or what ?

Can anyone advise before i go and start it myself and end up breaking it please ? Need to know for tomorrow morning hence posting in here as its most likely to be viewed and replied to by then.

Thanks in advance folks

hello mate

they like, kind of clip in, the round bit sticking throught the back plates has 3 tabes, and your meant to squeeze it to push the tabs back through the hole, i couldnt do mine for shit so i just left the cable on the back plates and removed the whole lot as i was puttng discs on the back?

Are you re-using them?
