I have had about 8 months of problem after problem with my escort... It sucks at cold starts (cuts out until warmed up a bit - got used to this though)

Main problem now is I can be driving, and it seems to be when the engine warms up... but I suddenly have no power - it's like driving my 1.1 106 honestly

Getting a proper haynes manual (bought a diesel one by mistake a while back ) and have a week off, going to try and sort it - any suggestions on what it can be, so I can try?

All i've done so far is completely cleaned the whole intake tubing, etc with carbcleaner (just made it smell more)

 

the fix for this was air flow meter (for anyone who cares, sorted it a few months back )
