hi there can some one pls tell me what the green sensor on the inlet manifold dose ibelive it called the knok sensor what will happn if i were to disconect it thanks

knok sensor sits under ex manifod - innlet manifod is air charge temp .

The knock sensor tells the ecu etc if there is detonation, the ecu the takes appropriate action. If you remove it it should still run but it's one less safegaurd you might as well keep it on.

Is there a reason why u are thinking of taking it off or do u just not like having green in the engine bay?

no i do like green,the reson bean was that ihave have just changed the head on the car but it has got a differnt manifold on the car an erler one ithink and it has not got the sensor there so just wondering if it was im portant but it seam ok ill just has to risk the car it pretty standerd so should worry thanks any and for the info!!!!!!!
