Can you please confirm for me the following...

If you put the Crank at TDC on No.1 cylinder, look at the phase sensor, where should the 2 lobes be in relation to the phase sensor lobe?

well if the fuel side of it all checks out ok , ..............does this problem happen from cold, and does it start ok from cold,in your opinion is it rich when cold or weak mixture[does it sound like you left the choke on too long or is it a bit fluffy]

the water temp sensor for the ecu have you checked the ohms reading when cold and when hot[these if knackered play havoc with injector pulse widths they can give the same symtoms as low fuel pressure ].......i aint got any more ideas but oh yeh ,on the coil it has push on connectors does it have a little black noise suppressor that links the coil live to the coil wire ,i have known these to break down an cause a weak signal to the coil if it does have one try bypassing it ........thats it im out of ideas let me know if you cure it

oh and as for adjusting fuel pressure regs i have done this loads of times on loads of cars including several cossies the only way to puncture it is to screw it right down and then some!!!!!..... weber supply these for all different types of cars same thing no bung , otherwise why have an adjuster at all why not a plain pressure reg?

One of the Danish Cosworth members has a problem like yours. He has been told that it is the ECU which needs to be replaced. Perhaps you can borrow an ECU from another Cosworth owner and try it in your own car.

it could depending on how its been removed - what boost are you running - have you had a gauge on it?

did you say it was a red top one, ie, no lambda probe in to top of the turbo?

Im currently running 16psi, should be 22psi, although it did the same standard at only 11psi.

Yes it is a Red Top 4x4, with out the Lambda.
