Its not that bigger job, probably the worst bit being that you have to get a couple of new pipes and fabricate them to fit the car, it will be worth it, everyone knows how amazingly shit mechanical ABS is.
If its cutting in when braking softly thats not good! Get it off you know it makes sense

I dont know about a tutorial, but basically, the brake systems run diagonally split, theres 2 sections on a master cylinder, front and back, each section runs 1 front, and the opposite side read brake, (so say front left, and rear right on the 1 section of the master cylinder), and the rear lines have rear compsenators inline, which will already be present on your car and connected.

so where the pipes run to the abs modulators, i just have to take the modulators out and have the pipes run straight through.
could i possibly get a connector in there and join the existing pipes?

Basically yeah, i'd get yourself a haynes manual, then you can see how the pipes run, it will make a lot more sense then.
Go to any good motor factors and they will make you copper brake pipes with whatever ends on them you require, easily bent to shape, and will just screw up to your existing pipes.
Or, you could go to your local scrappy and remove some pipes off a non ABS car, (me personally i don't like the look of home made pipes, but im just fussy)
