Default Cylinder head ready for scrap??

Does it look like the valve hasnt been sitting properly in the head? and would the crack cause a loss in compression/running problems??
Cheers

Hard to see if the valve has been sitting properly or not? But one thing is for sure, that crack aint meant to be there!!

If it's a worked head its probably worth while getting it repaired, but if standard. it will be just as cheap to buy another head.

I have a very low mileage and CLEAN Series 1 head if that helps you out at all?

Pictures are too bad to tell anything.

The valve may cause running problems but the crack probably won't unless it's leaking oil or water into the cylinder when the valve opens.

so its the exhaust valve thats faulty !!!
the thing is it aint meant to be there so when the valve opens up all the compression gasses etc ... some flow away and some go up the crack which leads to where???
possibly putting exhaust gases into the head or even into the oil ways or even the water ways ! i say its fucked m8 !!

only people who could give u a second opinion would be an engine rebuilders would could possibly weld the crack and recondition it !

good luck!
