cosworth wont boost past 14psi
hi just bought my first cosworth looks great sounds great love it but when boost reaches 14psi it starts to cough and splutter the engine has just been rebuilt and set to hold 26psi of boost any ideas please

what's the rest of the spec? ie injectors,turbo etc! as it could be a whole hope of different things to be honest!
ps DID it just start doing it or has it always since you've own it?

Wen you say its been set up to run 26psi, was it mapped to run this?
Yeah sounds like blowin out spark, due to crap plugs, to bigger gap or faulty/poor coil/leads.
