my daily runabout orion 1.6 cvh efi is fine when cold but when it warms up it is lumpy as hell on light throttle, I have changed the map sensor, plugs, iscv with no joy
does the ecu get a signal from somewhere to say what the engine temp is (like a cossie) if so where is it cos I can't find it!!
if it's not that then what else can it be, it's doing my head in!!
cheers,
steve

stu, changed the tps, no difference, although knowing my luck both would be faulty!
where the heck is the coolant temp sensor, or does it utilise the gauge one?
the gauge struggles to get out of the lower 1/4 so if it is the same sensor then bingo!!
cheers,
steve
ps stu, it's about time I made a donation, how?

It's under the inlet manifold and should be around 20-30 kOhm (anyhow the same as the inlet air temperature) in room temperature. It's in a difficult place to get to, but it can be measured from the large connector next to the fuel regulator.
