Does anybody know about bigger (longer) oil filter that would fit YB engine? If there is one what car is it from?

 

i know that the 4x4 is bigger then the 2wd filter, if that helps , why would you need a longer one??

 

I'm just reading lots of "wise books" on engine tuning and a lot of people seam to advice to get as big one as possible.

 

i think lots of people use remote filters and an oil cooler when going high power or for track etc ( high oil temps obviously )

if you do use the car hard and on track then i'd say at the very least you'd want a big-wing sump.

 

there is a newer generic motorcraft filter that covered many other filters, they rationalised the whole range of filters a few yers back, IIRC though the newer filter was slightly more expensice and phisically smaller than the EFL90
